Limit Posts Per Day (Per User) In Threads Demo

This thread has a limit of 1 post per user per day. If you attempt to post twice in a day you will be told you have to wait and be given a link to your most recent post.

Go ahead an try it. :)

You will have the option, as the admin, to decide whether you want "1 day" to be 1 calendar day or a 24 hour window between posts.

For example if you choose calendar day someone could post at 11:59 PM on Monday and again two minutes later at 12:01 AM on Tuesday (but then not again until Wednesday.)

If you choose the 24 hour option if someone posts at 11:59PM on Monday they cannot post again until 11:59 PM on Tuesday.

You also get to specify post limits per threadid, thread prefixid, or by forumid.

As apparently so does the Admin Override to be able to post regardless of the post limits. :up:

Can you add a functionality where users can make say 5 posts in 1 hour, I am talking about big boards, where people do post more than 100 good posts per day.

This was an old thread, I had turned off the mod so as not to limit legitimate posts on the forum.
