Qapla.com Test Article (Yosemite National Park)

Hello you. This is merely a test article so Qapla.com visitors can see the effects of some vBulletin mods on CMS Articles. I don't have much to talk about, unlike my blog I do not have a rant for this article. Still it would be best to have a decent amount of content to approximate a real-world situation. I suppose an image or two wouldn't hurt either.



On the left is El Capitan, perhaps on of the most photographed locations at Yosemite National Park in California.

On the right is Half Dome towering over the amazing Yosemite Valley below.

Elevation in the park can hit over 12,000 feet above sea level without ever climbing a mountain- indeed you can drive in at that elevation from an eastern entrance of the park.

Highly suggested for anyone visiting in the spring or summer months would be a raft rental that allows you to explore the river and valley by water. There will be a beach to enjoy along the way. As the flow through the river slows as the season progresses and the melting snow that created it disappears the water itself is calm and shallow- although a few obstacles will make for an interesting journey. (Hint: Bring plastic bags to keep your shoes, phones, and other valuables in.) We learned this the hard way.
