It's one of those clips that fly away when you try to remove them.
"Jesus where did that little clip go?" It's a funky shaped one that A-Zone won't have.

I lost them too on my '97. They are ~$0.39 at the dealership.

Yeah... or he could drive the TJ with out a rear seat...
