-Text Fade JS 2001-
JavaScript Edition
|
README.TXT Well after 2 long years TextFade was due for an upgrade... unfortunately this is really a downgrade. Yes, I'll be honest, this is just a script I put together one lonely night while attempting to get my Java Script programming up to par. TextFade JS 2001 does LESS than TextFade '99 for Windows 9X/NT. However, the JS Edition requires no downloading and no installation, so it's a big plus. The major drawback is the lack of a color picker- you have to enter those values manually. There's dozens of utilities out there that can give you the Hex values of your favorite colors (Including TextFade '99)- I included a table with the more common colors below the applet. Another feature it is presently lacking is the ability to fade between more than one color, do random colors, or set any other options. I hope this turns out to be a work in progress where I add a few new features every few weeks, maybe even days- but who knows... wait! What am I talking about? Actually hope I am so busy otherwise in life I never think twice about this page, the applet, or you- and I forget I even wrote this until I am about say 90 or so... but that probably won't happen... which is good for you... lucky bastards. |

Instructions I'm going to assume you are
already familiar with TextFade '99 1) Find the HEX values (look something like #000000 or #FFC011, etc.) for two colors you want to fade text between. 2) Enter them as the start and end colors (2 characters per box FF C0 11 for example.) 3) Enter the text you want to fade in the appropriate box. 4) Click on "Generate
HTML" 5) To repeat, click the "Clear All" button. |
